What to expect
Our under 18s ADHD assessments are thorough and tailored to each individual. We provide assessments for children aged 6 and above, lasting approximately 3-4 hours.
1. Optional Telephone Conversation
Initial discussion to understand your needs or concerns
4. Diagnostic Assessment
With a consultant nurse who will give feedback and recommendations
2. Screening and Questionnaires
Conners 4 and QB check - parent, teacher, and self reports (where age appropriate)
3. Structured Interview and Observation
The Young DIVA, based on DSM-5 criteria for comprehensive assessment
What to expect
Our under 18s Autism assessments are thorough and tailored to each individual. We provide assessments for children aged 3 and above, lasting approximately 6-8 hours (this includes observation in school).
For children under 5 years showing signs that could be attributable to autism, please consult with your health visitor and GP first
