Our team consists of highly experienced professionals with extensive clinical experience diagnosing and working with individuals with autism across all age ranges and backgrounds. We conduct comprehensive observations through multiple meetings to detect masking behaviours, which are crucial for a thorough masking assessment. Additionally, we gather a detailed developmental history, including family history of neurodevelopmental conditions and mental health conditions. Our robust assessment process is facilitated by our experienced clinicians who utilise proven methods to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
Our team possesses extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions in both children and adults, with a keen awareness of co-occurring conditions. This includes thorough assessments for anxiety and mental health issues, as well as focused evaluations for neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, learning difficulties, and speech and language challenges. We also conduct screening for learning difficulties, including dyslexia, and sensory processing challenges and needs. While we can offer support for behaviors associated with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), it is important to note that, according to DSM-5 and ICD-11, PDA is not currently recognised as an official diagnosis. As such, it will not be referenced in our report, though we will include recommendations aimed at supporting demand avoidant behavior.
